  1. Just wanted to let you know that Sadie passed her Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Assessment tonight! She passed with flying colours after working very hard and keeping her focus really well, so now we're going to get her certificate framed and hang it over her basket. I just need to work more with her on her heelwork though - she loves to pull! We love having her in the family - she's an absolute delight!

  2. having taken a great deal of time seeking someone who is genuine and passionate in the breeding and welfare of dogs i am so glad that i found tony the dogs he has are stunning if you ever get the oppertunity to purchase one of his pups do not think twice about it

  3. It's with delight and relief to finally find someone like Tony that not only knows what he's talking about, but has put a great deal of effort and energy into producing a fantastic litter. Having seen the 'C' pups yesterday, all looked to be doing very well, as did dam Izzy. Being able to see the sire and daughter from the 'B' litter adds further confirmation as too the wealth of paperwork and results.

Tony has a love and passion for his dogs and I can't wait to raise and train one of his dogs that he will be wholeheartedly and genuinely proud of.

  4. AT LAST! we've found a breeder who knows what he's talking about, we've been looking for a German Shepherd Pup with quality parents for a few months & having enquired about several litters we've been left very frustrated for various reasons, then we found Tony & Francilliam GSD's, today we went to view Quinn & Izzy & would like to say thanks Tony for making us feel so welcome & at ease in your home, your dogs are a credit to you, superb examples of the breed & exactly what we've been looking for, we would also like to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to own a pup of that Quality,
    Thank Again

  5. Wow, Francilliam have 2 of the best examples of GSD's in the whole country in my honest opinion. The german Sheppard gets such a bad reputation from the media when in truth I think that they are some of the best most loyal dogs in the world. If the poor reputation they have been unfortunatly been given will ever bee changed its going to be dogs like Quin and Izzy that will do it.

Thanks for your help Tony, your dogs really are a testiment to the love and care that you have shown them.

  6. Hi Tony,

Just a quick note to say thank you, not only for letting us have one of your lovely puppies, but also for all your help, advice and support. Kaiser is doing well and is about to start training. We are so happy with him, he a such a lovely dog and gets on great with our daughter and anyone who meets him. He truely is a fine example of a GSD. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and your family, it was clear to see that you truely love your dogs and are very passionate about the breed, and are certainly not in it for the money! we will keep you updated on kaiser and how hes getting on with his training.

    Many Thanks

  7. Unfortunately I was too late to get one of your last litter, however would like to thank you for recommending another breeder to me, I am off this afternoon to meet the parents and puppies with a view to purchasing one. Im really excited as have just lost a GSD and my remaining dog is pining so am confident this will bring a spring back in her step. Thanks I will let you know how I get on. Linda

  8. Cheers tony & Sue,

From the moment Gwen made contact with you over the phone, to the moment we left your home, with a beautiful example of what a German Shepard should be, we knew we were dealing with a really nice family whose main objective is not making as much money as they can from a litter, but caring about their future wellfare. It has been a real pleasure dealing with you and seeing how dedicated you are to your dogs is a fine example to us all. We are absoloutely delighted with Dexter, today he had his first innoculation and tracking tab injected into him, and he was a little trooper throughout the whole experiance, I can already see his personality developing and i know we are going to be best friends. So we both thank you big big, for allowing us to take one of your babies, and i promise you he'll have a great life with us.

If any other breeders are reading this, they should get in contact with Tony and take a few leafs out of his book, because this is a family that is very welcoming, very dedicated and very knowledgeable about not only dogs in general, but about the best dogs in the world, that are the shepards we all know and love.

So once again tony, sue and family, we thank you with all our heart for providing this superb ray of sunshine into our lives.

    THANKYOU

    Neal & Gwen

  9. Really enjoyed coming over and meeting Izzy and Quinn the other day. Of course the pups are lovely and we are looking forward to bring our new GSD home next month.
Meeting Mum and Dad reminded us why we love GSDs and if our young one becomes as welcoming and intelligent we will be more than happy,

  11. Hi Tony,

Thank you for allowing us to visit your home at Chester at short notice last week (5 August 2010) to view the new litter of pups. We couldn't believe how good Izzy is as a mother and her excellent condition, notwithstanding the size of her litter. Both parents have calm characters, show the sharpness trait, have very good temperament and they are a real credit to you as a true GSD enthusiast, breeder and trainer. Looking forward to collecting our 'new boy' in September.

    Best regards,

    Gwen & Mick

  15. Hi Tony,
All we wanted was a companion for our other dog, but we got so much more, its almost like he's been here before. He is the most well rounded lovable little man. Will be more than happy to request little brother or sister from next litter.I cant stop hugging him because I know its only a matter of time before he will be far to big, his paws are amazing, as are his ears!! Thank you so much, Richard and Helen.

  17. Hello Tony,

as a breeder of " Quinn of the Arolser wood " I am very proud of your success. I was and am sure that Quinn will bring a really postbreeding in England. He was bred by me about many generations level-according. I have laid always a lot of value on dogs fond of work, with a clear being and good anatomy. Continue in such a way, then nothing can fail.

All the best, a lot of luck

  18. Hi Tony
Thanks very much for letting us have Ajax he is areally great pup, full of fun, not phased by anythink he has met so far. He had his second injection yesterday and the vet was realy impressed with him. He hasn't cried at night and is very nearly house trained already. He knows his name, come, sit, and bed which I think is amazing.
You, Sue, Will and Francis have done a really great job giving Ajax the best start in life, thanks very much.

  19. Well Tony I have to say thanks for allowing us two pups for training. Let me say that both are shining examples of what a good German Shepherd should be. From the minute they got into the front of my van for the ride home they were bright and inquisitive and showed not the least sign of any nerves or anxiety. Settling into the homes of their respective handlers has been just as I expected, bold confident and taking everything in their stride from playing with excited kids to being carried round Lime Street Station on the way to meet visitors. They are playful and strong in character yet extremely sensible and are constantly watching their handlers and responding really quickly to simple basic commands (they know what "in your bed", "outside", "come" all mean and respond to their names immediately) and all at 8 weeks old!
Nothing phases them and we look forward to getting them out and about as I am confident they are going to soak up training like canine sponges!
ps. they are chunky good looking pups that are getting compliments from everyone who sees them! In short I'm chuffed with 'em! Well done.

  20. Hi Tony & Sue
We are highly delighted with our puppy, described by the vet as a very well breed, strong, healthy puppy.
In addition to his registered name Atlas, we have called him Koda (this is a Sioux Indian word which means friend) He certainly is proving to be.He is very enthusiatic and quick to learn and very willing to please, a credit to his parents (not you!!) I know you are proud to have bred them.
However I would add that it was a pleasure to deal with somebody with the dedication and enthusiasm that you demonstrated when we first met and viewed the puppies.Everything you said and promised was fulfilled. Koda could not have wished for a better start in life, being well looked after and socialised.
Our task now will be to try to live up to the standards you have set .We may not achieve this in showing or working dog standards but he will be just as much loved by all the family as are Quinn & Izzi.
    Thanks Again

  25. Hi Tony, I want to congratulate you on your web site and would like to say how impressed I was when watching the videos of your dogs. I have been training dogs for nearly 40 years now and in that time have competed in obedience and trials, trained at Lancashire Constabulary and been the Head of the Parks Patrol Service Dog Section at Croxteth Country Park in Liverpool in charge of selection and training of dogs and handlers. I'm now a professional trainer and provide security patrol dogs and canine security services to a number of reputable security companies (definitely not "guard dogs"). In my spare time I'm an instructor and Comittee member at Clwyd Retriever Club and compete in Field Trials and work Gundogs. I tell you this because I see many potential working dogs in the course of my work but I have to say that finding quality dogs that have the combination of correct temperament, good type and working ability isn't easy... You clearly have them, well done! let me know what pups are available please!
